ACCBank Cork Week, the biennial event which takes place at the Royal Cork Yacht Club in Crosshaven, Co. Cork, from July 12th to 18th next, will see more than 400 boats competing in, and around, Cork Harbour at what is Europe`s largest Regatta organised by a single Club.
More that 5,000 sailors will compete on the water, during five days of racing and in excess of 10,000 people will enjoy the shore side entertainment each evening.
The largest boat on the water will be Rambler at 90 feet and the smallest boats will be a fleet of 40 SB3’s. The majority of those competing will be from Ireland and entries have also been received from N. Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, France, The Netherlands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Malta, Australia, USA, South Africa, Malta, and Hong Kong.
