Eighty years after the last steam train pulled out of the station at Crosshaven, All Aboard @ Cork Week is bringing a road train to town on 7th & 8th July to mark the start of Cork Week 2012. It’s going to be “All Aboard” for one more time! The road train will run between 12 noon and 5pm each day, bringing passengers from the All Aboard festivities at the Royal Cork Yacht Club, on a return trip, through the village, to Fort Camden. Return tickets costing €5 per person can be purchased from the Information Office at All Aboard @ Cork Week, under 5s go free and the ticket includes entry to Fort Camden. In the good old days …
