Cork’s Club Bodega, in association with Cork Week 2012, invites you to the launch of “Bodega by the Sea”, this Friday, May 4th in the Bodega at 8pm.
“Bodega by the Sea” is a collaboration between Cork City’s Club Bodega and the world renowned Cork Week festival, designed to provide some of the country’s best live bands and DJs, combined with the unique atmosphere of Club Bodega, in a setting like no other, over five nights in July, in beautiful Crosshaven.
For this year’s festival Club Bodega are setting sail down river with a motley crew, including the likes of Soul Driven, Smash Hits, Pontious Pilate and the Nail Drivers, as well as some of the country’s top DJs such as Fadd Jnr, Big Daddy Can, Stevie G and many more, with a massive sound and lighting show to bring out the very best in these performers. This is a first for Cork Week and has not been seen shoreside before!
On Friday next, May 4th, to give you a taste of the summer, we will have the motown musical stylings of “The Papa Zitas”, followed by Dj Fadd Jnr, laying the soundtrack to what promises to be an evening of nautical fun. Refreshments and food will be served in the Tap Room from 8pm and we have 50 passes up for grabs on the night, we hope you can join us.
